Zoe Salloom was born in England and grew up in Europe. Being the daughter of a Civil Engineer who worked for the Air Force she has traveled extensively in the United States and abroad.

Zoe began her career in education as an elementary school teacher in Northern California. During her 12 year tenure, she helped bring the use of technology in the classroom to the district. Her love of technology and understanding of how it could be used in an educational setting earned her the privilege of having a 17 station computer lab in her classroom. She was also charged with helping support the 110 computers on the campus and train the faculty in using those computers.

In 1998 Zoe went back to school and earned a Masters degree in Instructional Design from the California State University at Chico. She is currently working for Georgia State University as an Instructional Designer and project manager. Part of her job at Georgia State University is to explore emerging technologies and their possible use, and impact, on education. Zoe is a self professed computer geek who loves toying with the latest, greatest gadgets.
